Any event on that calendar whose title contains one of these words = nurse on shift → alerts stay silent. Keep "Nurse" so it still works if you change nurses.
Off = when unsure, alert the parents (the safe default from your table).
Suppression window (5 min) & the cry-duration trigger are set inside the Alexa routines.
When the nurse is away, a cry at a given time speaks the alert on the chosen device. Tier = which routine fired (>30s primary, >10 min escalation). Times are ET; a window may cross midnight.
